2026 VARN Professional Development Day

The VARN Research Nurse Professional Development Day 2026–2027 will bring together research nurses and clinical research professionals from across Victoria for a day of learning, connection, and professional development.
Hosted at Batman’s Hill on Collins, 623 Collins Street, Melbourne VIC 3000, the full-day program will run from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and will provide an opportunity for research nurses to connect with colleagues, share experiences, and explore emerging developments across the clinical research landscape.
The program will feature a range of invited speakers and sessions covering contemporary issues, innovations, and developments relevant to research nursing.
The day will provide a valuable space to exchange knowledge, build professional networks, and consider the evolving role of research nurses in supporting high-quality, ethical, inclusive, and patient-centred clinical research.
We look forward to bringing the Victorian research nursing community together for another engaging day of professional learning, collaboration, and connection.
